Dimspace - Algorithmic Max for Live Reverberator
Dimspace is an algorithmic reverberator for Max for Live based on Schroeder reverberators. Produces a cold, spacey, blurry, noisy, crackling, unnatural and unwelcoming sound. The parameters of the algorithm's allpass filters and feedback comb filters are constantly changing based on a random noise signal, which only modulates the aforementioned values when a phasor-driven Sample and Hold object lets the signal pass through. Also, a "reflection" module is added after every allpass filter, which essentially adds a reverberated delay effect to the signal. The user-adjustable parameters are as follows:
Size - The perceived size of the simulated space, using the "reflection" modules
Modulation - Speed of filter modulation - independent on each channel, for weird stereo effects - minimum value (0) disables it altogether
Mix - The ratio of "dry" (pre-effect) and "wet" (post-effect) signal
Gain - Output gain of the effect
